
Terms and Conditions
Definitions
(a) Conditions means these Conditions of Sale and Installation.
(b) Customer means the person or Corporation to whom the Quotation is addressed. (c) Order means the request by the customer for MADE2MEASURE blinds to supply Product which incorporates these Conditions.
(d) Products mean curtains, blinds, awnings, tracks, shutters and all other goods and services provided by MADE2MEASURE Blinds or ordered by the customer.
(e) Quotation means the quotation given by MADE2MEASURE Blinds to the customer which incorporates these Conditions and which Made2Measure Blinds refers to the order once approved by Customer.
(f) MADE2MEASURE Blinds means MADE2MEASURE Blinds
Pty Ltd ABN 26 641 883 605 of Unit 2/6B Weakleys Drive Thornton NSW 2322.
(g) Structural Limitations include without limitation, the room, floor or ceiling not being square/level or walls or plaster crumbling, breaking or flaking during installation of the Products or location of utility services or the manner in which windows/doors function or the action of pests (e.g. termites).

Quotation Period

VALID FOR 14 DAYS.

Quotations are subject to a site measure, quotation price is a
guide only.

Product Choice
-
The customer is responsible to check quote with relation to product, colours, controls etc and to contact MADE2MEASURE Blinds with any changes within ONE (1) working date from the date of deposit.

Orders for supply only are at customer’s own risk. MADE2MEASURE Blinds accept no responsibility for measurements.

All prices are subject to a confirmation by a Check Measure. Any increase in measurements will increase the price and must be paid for by Customer.

MADE2MEASURE Blinds will not accept responsibility has commenced. A paid deposit shall be considered acceptance of the details or the product quoted and these terms and conditions.

Completion
-
Every effort is made to complete the contract in the estimated time, however no responsibility can be taken for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.

MADE2MEASURE Blinds will only communicate with the contractual parties on the Quote/Invoice.

MADE2MEASURE Blinds seeks to achieve the best standards in manufacture and installation of products purchased from our organisation. All work undertaken by MADE2MEASURE Blinds is at our instructions or differing specifications are documented and signed on a MADE2MEASURE Blinds designated form.

Product Installation
-
Customers, including tenants, agents or third parties are required to provide suitable access for all installation inside and outside the building. Occupants should remove any valuables, which could be damaged, or any obstructions that may interfere with any such installation.

Clients are responsible for the removal of any existing window treatments. A charge will apply if the fitter removes existing window treatment or fixing to gain access to the installation.

Customer is to make access to installation site between Monday to Friday (Public holidays excluded).

Customer is responsible for advising the installer regarding the location of any water pipes, electrical wiring or any other obstructions that could cause damage or create an unsafe environment.

All blinds are ‘square’ and no responsibility can be taken for ‘out of square windows’.

Awning fabric are subject to joins.

The blinds supplied by MADE2MEASURE Blinds are measured
to allow 10mm – 20mm clearance between the bottom of the blind and the sill or flooring and approx. 5mm – 10mm clearance on either side. In the event of the skirting boards or wall tiles being fitted within the window recess, it must be appreciated and understood that such skirting boards or tiles will form an obstruction which will prevent end slats hanging vertically or horizontally.

Should customer deny access to the site for the purpose of installation

(a) The invoice becomes payable in full within SEVEN (7) days.

(b) Once paid, MADE2MEASURE Blinds will store the goods at no cost to the customer to a maximum of THREE (3) months.

(c) Under the circumstances that you wish to place an order on hold, a request in written format is required and any outstanding funds immediately become requisite.
i. All electrical and scaffolding expenses are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.
5. Warranty
a. MADE2MEASURE Blinds warrants that the products will be free of defects or installation faults for:
i) ONE (1) year in the case of blinds, curtains and awnings.
ii) SEVEN (7) years in the case of timber shutters.
iii) TEN (10) years in the case of Australian Made PVC Shutters.
iv) TWENTY-FIVE (25) years in the case of Imported PVC and Aluminium including
Australian Made Aluminium.
b. On all motors we have a TWELVE (12) Month Product
Warranty from date of installation.
c. Warranty is transferable and must be presented with receipts
and photos of the product before warranty work can be
carried out.
d. We do not warrant against fading or rust.
e. Water does not apply to accidental water damage to product. f. All warranties are void if product is misused.
g. Colour and weaves may vary slightly from samples and
batches.
h. Awning fabrics are subject to joins.
i. Any damage to products or components of the products
caused due to settlement or structural defects of the building
in which they are installed will not be warrantable.
j. Any damage caused by wind, hail, lightening or other acts,
intentional acts, accidents, or exposure to harmful chemicals
are not deemed under warranty.
k. Customers are to inspect all final installations with SEVEN (7)
days from installation date. Installation warranty is only valid
THREE (3) months from installation date.
l. Warranty is only valid when the invoice(s) are paid in full. To lodge a service, please contact us directly at hello@m2mblinds.com.au.
6. Payment Terms
a. 50% deposit of products is required before work can commence.
b. Once deposit is received this acts as an electronic signature in entering the contract with MADE2MEASURE Blinds and the Customer.
c. Once deposit is paid order cannot be cancelled. If an order is changed, this must be done within ONE (1) Business day after the deposit is made and full description of changes. If customers wants to make changes after the order has been placed this will be at the charge of the Customer.
d. Final Balance is to be paid in full on or before the installation date.
e. Ownership is only transferable once the products are installed and full payment is received.
f. MADE2MEASURE Blinds reserve the right to and can without notice seek possession products in the event these terms are not met. The Customer will be responsible for any additional costs incurred in this event.
g. In the event of this account being placed in a debt collection agency for formal proceeding, all collection fees and disbursements shall be a debt due and owing by the customer.
7. Price Match Guarantee
a. MADE2MEASURE Blinds will match any price on a product. This price match guarantee has to be of the same quality of products and fabric selected.
In the event of a customer defaulting in any of the terms of this agreement, including payment for any monies due under the agreement, then MADE2MEASURE Blinds shall have the right (without serving notice) to retake possession of the goods supplied by MADE2MEASURE Blinds, and the Customer hereby authorities and allows MADE2MEASURE Blinds or its representatives, servants, agents or employees to enter the premises upon which the goods are housed or stored for the purpose of reclaiming possession of the same. MADE2MEASURE Blinds shall not be liable for any cost losses, damages, expenses or any other monies or losses suffered by the customer as a result of MADE2MEASURE Blinds reclaiming possession of the goods.
